For parents
StudyRoyale is a learning game for school classes. Here you can read what your child sees there, what is stored and what there isn't. Updated: October 2026.
No chat
There is no free chat in the game. Players only communicate with emotes, short dances of their character.
Under 16: guests only
On first start the game asks for the month and year of birth. Under 16 you play as a guest: with a player name, without an e-mail address, without the AI and without a friends list.
No ads, no advertising ID
StudyRoyale shows no ads, uses no analytics companies and no advertising ID, and sells no data. How much is played, we only count ourselves on our own server in the EU — and it can be switched off in the settings.
Filtered names
Player names, quiz names and lobby names go through a word filter. Players can be reported and blocked.
Coins only for knowledge
Coins are earned in rounds with general knowledge. They can't be bought, and there are no gambling-style crates for money.
Data in the EU
Accounts and quizzes are stored with Supabase in the EU; the AI for quizzes of your own (from 16) runs on Microsoft Azure in the EU.
Free or with the Pass?
Nobody needs the Pass to play and learn. It is an optional subscription with extras — only for accounts from 16, and not available yet.

Questions from parents
Does StudyRoyale cost anything?
No, the game is free and has no ads. An optional Pass with extras is planned; you don't need it to play. Without an account of their own (from 16) it can't be bought at all.
Can my child play with strangers?
Others can join public lobbies, but without chat: you only see player names and characters. Lobbies with a code are only for those who know the code, for example their own class.
How do I delete my child's data?
The guest or user account can be deleted in the game under Settings. You can also write to us: studyroyale@yahoo.com.
Where can I find the legal details?
In the privacy policy and the terms of use, both linked at the bottom of every page.
